Much better and easier to use than some other Japanese learning apps. They use actual Japanese instead of an Americanized version. It allows you to slow down and listen to the pronunciation closely and record your own voice to see if you came close to enunciating the phrases correctly. It is well worth paying for the paltry amount to get the full version. To those who complain about paying for the full version, all I can say is, do you want to really learn Japanese or not? I found even with the free version, there is a lot to learn. Very happy with this app. Kudos to the developers.

This is a great learning app for learning spoken Japanese. I am learning for a school trip so I don’t need to be able to write only speak. The pronunciations could be better but all in all I love it.

Most everything is on premium, only 7/24 are unlocked You have to pay to unlock anything else

I first purchased this app 3 weeks ago. Paid for the pro version. It would not update to my iPhone X. Apple said contact Bravolol...Bravolol says contact Apple. More like Brav-LOL at me.

Simple, easy to use, and we'll organized. Highly recommended if you're starting to learn Japanese!

It helps, it's pretty good.

More than half of the sections, you had to pay to get them! It would be worth it but some of these were incorrect anyway. For example, もう一度行ってください(mouichido ittekudasai) means "Please say that again," and NOT "Pardon".

Just what I was looking for. Something very easy. I can show this to my 70 something-year-old dad and even he would understand this.

Great app to start off with. Teaches you common phrases and is quite useful. Great starting point for individuals who would like to dabble at the idea of Learning to speak Japanese.

I love this app, because it is really handy, and you can basically look up whatever you want whenever you need it without having to work through different levels and achievements before you can actually arrive at a certain word or phrase. I am especially fond of how you can slow down the audio to make it easier to hear and understand.

Our family just decided to go to Japan and we wanted to learn some Japanese so I installed this app. It turns out this app was made by another "cheapo" who wants to attract people's attention but then harass them with ads. And for the second strike, they ask you to PAY FIVE BUCKS FOR MOST OF THE PHRASES. I THOUGHT BUYING AN APP TO LEARN JAPANESE WAS MORE SUFFICIENT THEN USING THE INTERNET BUT IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR POCKET PICKED, IT'S NOT. Trust me.

This so really helped me. I started off not knowing anything and that turned into being able to have a full conversation with someone in Japanese! This app is truly amazing!

This app is limited, and expensive.

I am very disappointed because this app wants me to pay FIVE WHOLE BUCKS just to learn a few more phrases! I'm actually using this to look for a job in Japan to teach English and I can't believe this is another one of those stupid pesky business strategies! SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY NEED TO LEARN THIS STUFF AND FORCING THEM TO CHOKE YOU WITH MONEY IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Great app and affordable

I love that I hear the pronunciation and record myself to see if I'm doing it correctly. The phrases are broken down by category so it makes it very easy to navigate.

If you are looking to learn basic Japanese words and phrases then this app is great. I was able to learn to ask some basic questions, learn numbers and even learn some animal names.

I think this app is great, it dose have a lot of nice phrases. I would like if you added more phrases and make more of the sentences have less Kanji. I am learning Japanese Hiragana so far( Japanese has three alphabets Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana) I think this is a nice app if you went on a short trip to Japan but I would like if you made a app to learn Japanese. I do believe that there might be a wrong translation for " I do not understand" and " I understand" but just keep improving!

I love this app. Being in a relationship with a Japanese woman whose 2nd language is English, this app has helped me communicate with her a lot easier. Being able to say small things like, I love you, good morning and how are you is great. The smile it brings to her face is priceless. Thank you for the great app. I'm improving my Japanese everyday.

The Bravaolo series is such a smart app! You need this if you want to learn a language! There are so many phrases, and it has many features too to help you learn! There are also many other apps like this ones including different languages! To learn away! Wonderful app!

I took Japanese back in high school so I know a few stuff from what I remember. With this app my vocabulary expanded more not only that but most likely written correctly. Really good for traveling.
